Dear Maggie,

Child Care Debate in Parliament

Let me first wish you a happy new year.

Tomorrow, Thursday 7th January, in Parliament at around 2pm, Lucy Allen MP and Alan Johnson MP are leading a debate on Children in Care. They will ask the government to reduce the number of children entering the care system by bringing forward measures to support more children to remain safely at home with their family or extended family.

If you have a story about children being taken into care unjustly, please email or phone your MP right away and ask your MP to raise your case from a policy point of view in the Children in Care debate tomorrow.

Please only contact Lucy Allen or Alan Johnson if either is your MP! You will find your MP’s telephone number and email address by clicking here.

If you have no story to tell, but are simply outraged by the injustice of the current system, then please click here for our video where two parents in Bexley tell their story and then send the link to your MP.

Matt 2:8 And (Herod) sent (the wise men) to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found him, bring me word again, that I may come and worship him also. (KJV)

Yours in the mighty name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
